03

0.01 μm Hollow Fiber UF Membrane

Provides high-precision physical filtration through a compact hollow fiber ultrafiltration membrane.

0.01 μm UF Membrane Physical Filtration
Use the external pre-filter whenever possible: Keeping the pre-filter attached helps reduce the amount of visible debris entering the main cartridge. This can support steadier flow and help protect the internal filtration materials.

Replacement Filters & Components

03

Replace the Filtration Components, Not the Entire System

The internal filter cartridge and external pre-filter can be replaced separately. This allows continued use of the pump body, handle, hoses, connectors, floater, and clean-water cup.

Main Replacement Filter K8007 Replacement Filter Cartridge

The main cartridge combines PP cotton, activated carbon fiber, and a hollow fiber UF membrane. It installs inside the K8187 pump filter body and provides the system’s primary filtration performance.

PP Cotton Carbon Fiber 0.01 μm UF Up to 3,000 L
Compatible with K8187
Replace when: the rated capacity is reached, water flow remains slow after maintenance, taste or odor changes, or the cartridge shows signs of damage.
Water Intake Protection Replacement External Pre-Filter

The pre-filter attaches to the longer inlet hose and helps intercept larger debris and suspended material before source water enters the main filter cartridge.

External Intake Pre-Filtration Sediment Control Replaceable Part
Designed for the K8187 Pump Filter
Clean or replace when: visible debris accumulates, the material becomes damaged, or water intake remains restricted after cleaning.
Replacement reminder: Water quality and sediment levels vary by location. Do not rely only on the maximum liter rating. Inspect the filter components regularly and replace them earlier when condition, flow, taste, or odor indicates that replacement is needed.

Actual flow may vary depending on pump speed, source water quality, filter condition, hose position, and sediment level.

Rated Filter Capacity Up to 3,000 L / 793 Gallons

Actual filter life depends on source water quality, sediment level, maintenance, and frequency of use.

Filtration Method Manual Hand-Pump Operation

Repeated movement of the handle draws source water through the filtration system and directs filtered water through the outlet.

Main Filter Structure Replaceable Composite Cartridge

The internal cartridge combines PP cotton, activated carbon fiber, and hollow fiber ultrafiltration materials.

External Protection Replaceable Pre-Filter

The intake pre-filter helps reduce larger debris before water enters the primary filter cartridge.

System Type Portable Non-Electric Filter

Designed for situations where electrical power, charging, and fixed water connections are unavailable.

Hose Configuration Separate Inlet and Outlet Hoses

The longer hose draws untreated water into the system, while the shorter hose directs filtered water into a clean container.

Storage Shelf Time Up to 5 Years Before Use

Store unused components in a clean, dry, cool, and ventilated place away from direct sunlight and corrosive substances.

Care & Use Notes

05
01
Choose Clear Freshwater

Avoid heavily muddy water whenever another source is available. High sediment levels may reduce flow and shorten filter life.

02
Keep Clean and Dirty Parts Separate

Do not allow the outlet hose, clean-water cup, or water outlet to contact untreated water or dirty surfaces.

03
Do Not Use Detergent on the Filter

Do not clean the cartridge with soap, bleach, solvents, chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials.

04
Do Not Filter Non-Water Liquids

Carbonated, acidic, sugary, flavored, or alcoholic liquids may damage the filtration materials and affect performance.

05
Release a Stiff Handle Carefully

If the handle becomes stiff after storage, gently rotate it from side to side, pull upward, and pump several times.

06
Check the Pre-Filter When Flow Slows

Inspect and clean the external pre-filter when pumping becomes more difficult or water intake becomes noticeably slower.

07
Remove Residual Water

After each use, drain the hoses, cup, pre-filter, pump body, and cartridge as thoroughly as possible.

08
Dry Before Long-Term Storage

Allow washable components to air-dry in a clean, ventilated area before packing the system away.

09
Protect the UF Membrane

Avoid sharp impacts, freezing conditions, excessive heat, or handling that could damage the hollow fiber membrane.

10
Replace the Main Filter on Time

Replace the cartridge at its rated capacity, or earlier when flow, taste, odor, or physical condition indicates replacement.

11
Inspect Hoses and Connections

Check the hoses, connectors, seals, floater, clip, and pre-filter for looseness, wear, or damage before outdoor use.

12
Avoid Hazardous Water Sources

The filter is not designed to make seawater or water affected by fuels, industrial chemicals, or hazardous contamination drinkable.

Cold-weather warning: Do not allow a wet hollow fiber filter to freeze. Water trapped inside the membrane may expand during freezing and damage the filtration structure.

How It Works

How the Filter System Works

Water is added to the upper chamber and moves through the center filter by gravity. After filtration, water collects in the lower chamber and is ready to dispense from the spigot.

1. Fill the Upper Chamber

Add water to the top chamber. The system works without electricity, plumbing, or pressure.

2. Gravity Moves Water Through the Filter

Water naturally flows downward through the center filter element, where the filtration process takes place.

3. Filtered Water Collects Below

After passing through the filter, water collects in the lower chamber for storage and daily use.

4. Dispense When Needed

Open the spigot to pour filtered water for drinking, cooking, or everyday hydration.
