Tested my tap water which read 376 ppm then ran the same water source thru the system and tested it again post filtration and read 15ppm. Was shockingly surprised at the results and very happy. Would like the hose material to be more flexible but I can live with it.
Easy to assemble and use.

Well packaged and easy to assemble
This is an extraordinarily good product. I have been using it for two and a half months now, and I could not be more satisfied with it. I could not recommend it more highly.
I bought this Purewell water filter/dispenser so I wouldn't have to keep buying plastic water bottles that go into landfills, are too heavy for me to carry in cases,and to avoid drinking from potentially toxic plastic bottles.
I use the ceramic filters, and so far using just one filter has lasted me over a year (I live alone so just one person using tit, but I drink a lot of water every day). (I recently bought some of the regular carbon filters to save money, but I have not yet tried those.) I don't enjoy scrubbing the ceramic filter, but the company did include a special sponge and it's easy enough.
Because I don't have a lot of counter space, my filter system is on a plant stand, which is the perfect height and fits in a corner. Because I have a bad shoulder and can't lift much weight, I use a picture to transfer water from the tap to the filter canister. The only thing I would do differently if I were to order one again is to get one of the colored finishes because stainless steel always shows fingerprints and water marks, and the version with the little window to tell how much water is left before needing to refill.
I think some people would not like the taste, but maybe that depends on your tapwater quality, and I find that if I show the water rather than drinking it at room temperature, it tastes just fine.
I do recall a bit of difficulty first assembling the water filter. I felt like maybe a part was missing or something didn't fit right, I think the instructions were poor , but I made it work and have never had a problem since.
The most important thing to know is that the water tastes great. It removed the chlorine taste completely. The gravity system works well. It is not too large for my counter. It was easy to assemble.
My wife loves it. Enough said! Easy to assemble, solidly made, water taste great. Can't see paying the other brands $300 plus, even more. Also the water filters a lot quicker than I thought it would. This item is a steal at the low price we paid.
This is one of the best purchase I have ever made. Firstly, I was impressed with the packaging and instructions. The materials this water filter is made from are excellent! Such a high quality item! A fantastic design and water is excellent! I live where the water has boil alerts very, very often and is loaded with chlorine and other harmful chemicals. I have been using a Lifestraw pitcher and it was good, but I didn’t care for the fact the pitcher was plastic and it was only a two quart size. So when I accidentally cracked the bottom I went in search of something else and the Purewell has exceeded my expectations in all areas! Many thanks to the Purewell company for creating a water filtration system that is budget friendly and works amazingly wonderful!
So far, this water filtration system has exceeded my expectations. The setup was simple, and the difference in taste is immediately noticeable—the water is crisp and clean. It’s been working reliably, and I’m really happy with it overall.
This is a nice non-electric way of filter water if you want to go off the grid. If you are accustomed to the flavor of reverse osmosis water, this might be a bit of an adjustment. One thing that vastly improves the flavor is if you add about a dozen drops of food grade 30% hydrogen peroxide in the top tank and the bottom tank. And yes, I do know that you’re not supposed to drink hydrogen peroxide. According to the people that built another water system, I was told that in a tank where you draw the water off the bottom to drink it’s safe to add. The hydrogen peroxide is lighter than the water and rises to the top, but it kills bacteria and cleans up the flavor dramatically! It is really quite amazing how good the water taste since I’ve started adding a few drops of hydrogen peroxide to each tank load. Please do not use the kind of hydrogen peroxide that’s formulated for first aid skin care. That has other chemical factors added that are not appropriate to put in your drinking water and may change the dynamic that I explained here.
Love this water purifier. Clean design. Easy to install. Great value for the money. I am going into my third year using this every day. No chlorine smell in the water. I also use it to water my plants. Some plants respond badly to straight up tap water. This does the trick. No brown tipped leaves on my spider plant. I am very happy with this product!!!!
Works better than any purifier I've ever had. I can filter the most murky, moss covered water and it comes out pure and clean with no foul taste or oder. It like getting bottled water from the store. Takes about 30 minutes to produce a gallon, but is well worth the wait. Produces approximately 10 gallon fully charged.
I will be using it this weekend on a camping trip in my new minimalist camper/ off road vehicle. Everyone who is going is so jealous as they have to cart in water and I will just make mine creek side. I see more sales in the future for the purewell. Ps don’t sell them any orange ones. Just kidding.
I love that I don’t have to spend money on bottled water and the water is good. I have 4 stars because the water does not filter completely out of the top tank, therefore I feel it does get filtered. So I add that water to filter again when I add more tap water to be filtered. I also thought I was supposed to have gotten 4 extra filters due to the system I ordered had a year supply of filters and Purewell stated to make sure to get fresh clean water change filter every 3 months and I only received 2 extra filters besides the 2 that came with the system. I thought that was a little misleading, nevertheless, the water is good.
I am enjoying using this, had a few times where it ran out and i forgot to turn the nozzle to off, so it made a big mess once refilled. I wish instructions or a video of putting this thing together was available. I have two extra filters I don't know how to use. Any help with this? I am not gong to be bringing water home from the store anymore. Woohoo! Would definitely buy this again. Thanks
