We offer a 30-day return window. This means you may request a return within 30 days after receiving your item, provided that the item meets the eligibility requirements in this Policy.

To start a return, you must contact us before sending any item back. Items returned without prior authorization may not be accepted.

To be eligible for a return, the product must generally be:

Purchased directly from Purewell.com.
Returned within the applicable return window.
Unused, uninstalled, unfilled with water, and in the same condition as received.
Returned with original packaging, manuals, accessories, components, and proof of purchase.
Free from damage, stains, odors, contamination, scratches, dents, missing parts, or signs of improper use.

Purewell reserves the right to refuse a return or reduce the refund if the returned product does not meet these conditions, subject to applicable law.

3. Drinking Water Hygiene Policy

Because Purewell products are used for drinking water filtration, hygiene and product safety are important. Products that have been filled with water, installed, activated, primed, connected, used, or otherwise exposed to drinking water may not be eligible for resale or standard return processing.

For hygiene reasons, used water-contact components, opened consumable filters, and products that show signs of use may be non-returnable unless the return is related to a verified defect, damage, or incorrect item caused by Purewell.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return or refund unless required by law or unless the issue is caused by Purewell:

Used, installed, filled, activated, or water-exposed products.
Opened, used, activated, primed, expired, or contaminated replacement filters.
RO membranes, filter cartridges, carbon filters, gravity filter elements, outdoor filter elements, and other consumable filtration components once opened or used.
Products missing original packaging, manuals, accessories, or required components.
Products damaged by misuse, neglect, improper installation, unauthorized modification, or incompatible accessories.
Gift cards, digital products, final sale items, clearance items, or customized products where applicable.

5. Replacement Filters and Consumable Products

Replacement filters are consumable products. This includes gravity filters, RO filters, RO membranes, carbon filters, outdoor filter elements, bottle filters, straw filters, pump filters, and similar filtration components.

For safety and hygiene reasons, replacement filters may only be returned if they are unopened, unused, unprimed, uninstalled, and in original packaging, unless the item is defective, damaged, incorrect, or otherwise required by applicable law.

6. Gravity Water Filter Systems

For countertop gravity water filter systems, all chambers, lids, spigots, stands, water level windows, filters, washers, seals, and accessories must be returned complete and in original condition.

Gravity systems that have been assembled, filled with water, used for filtration, contaminated, dented, scratched beyond normal inspection, or returned with missing parts may not qualify for a full refund.

7. Countertop Reverse Osmosis Systems

Countertop RO systems must be returned with all tanks, pitchers, filters, membranes, power adapters, accessories, tubing, manuals, and packaging included, where applicable.

RO systems that have been installed, flushed, filled, activated, connected to power, connected to water, or used may be subject to inspection and may not qualify for a standard return due to hygiene, performance, and resale limitations.

8. Outdoor Water Purifiers

Outdoor water purifiers, filter pumps, water filter bottles, water filter straws, soft flasks with filters, and similar products must be returned unused, clean, dry, and complete with all original components.

Outdoor filtration products exposed to natural water sources, dirt, sand, mud, chemicals, biological material, or other outdoor contaminants may be non-returnable unless the issue is verified as a Purewell-caused defect, damage, or incorrect shipment.

9. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you receive a damaged, defective, incorrect, or incomplete item, contact us as soon as possible so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

To help us process the claim, please provide your order number, photos or videos of the product, photos of the packaging, shipping label, and a description of the issue. If the issue is caused by Purewell or our fulfillment process, you will not be required to pay return shipping for that issue.

10. Missing Items

If your order is missing a product, accessory, filter, manual, or required component, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the package contents. We will review the issue and may send the missing item, provide a replacement, or offer another appropriate solution.

11. Return Shipping Costs

If the return is caused by customer preference, ordering error, change of mind, incorrect product selection, or other customer-related reasons, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping costs. The exact cost depends on the carrier or shipping service selected.

If the return is caused by Purewell, such as an incorrect item, damaged item, verified defect, or fulfillment error, Purewell will cover the return shipping cost or provide another suitable solution in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

12. How to Start a Return or Exchange

To request a return or exchange, please use our Returns & Exchanges Portal, available on our website and in your customer account.

Simply enter your Order Number and the Email Address used for your purchase. If your order is eligible, you can submit your request online.

Once approved, we will email you a prepaid return label and return instructions. After we receive and inspect your returned item, we will process your refund or ship your replacement order, as applicable.

13. Return Address

Return addresses may vary depending on product type, order location, warehouse availability, and the reason for return. Please do not use any address published on the website or package unless we specifically provide that address for your return authorization.

14. Tracking Number Requirement

Once you ship a return, please provide the tracking number to Purewell promptly. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping proof of shipment. Purewell is not responsible for returns lost in transit when the customer arranges return shipping.

15. Inspection and Refund Approval

After we receive your return, we will inspect the product to confirm condition, completeness, eligibility, and compliance with this Policy. We will notify you whether the refund is approved, partially approved, denied, or requires further review.

If the returned product is used, damaged, missing parts, missing packaging, contaminated, or not in eligible condition, we may reduce the refund, refuse the return, or return the item to you, subject to applicable law.

16. Refund Processing

If your refund is approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method within 3–7 business days after approval. Your bank, credit card issuer, payment provider, or payment network may take additional time to process and post the refund.

Dissatisfaction based solely on taste preference, flow rate expectations, local water conditions, or misunderstanding of filtration technology may not qualify as a defect unless verified through product evaluation or required by applicable law.

How Reverse Osmosis Works

Reverse osmosis is not simple particle screening. The system uses pump pressure to move pretreated water across a selective membrane and separate the purified-water stream from the concentrated-water stream.

Important Use and Care Notes

Complete the Initial Flush Flush the system before drinking from it for the first time. Discard the initial water until it runs clear and the system completes its cleaning cycle.

Protect the Membrane with Pre-Filtration Keep the intake pre-filter and medical PP cotton clean. Excess sediment can reduce water flow and place additional load on the RO cartridge.

Use Within the Temperature Range Use source water between 41°F and 100°F / 5°C and 38°C. Do not use hot water or allow the system to freeze.

Reset and Flush New Filters

Reset the filter-life indicator after replacement, then complete the required flushing cycles.

Prepare for Long-Term Storage

Drain the tank, unplug the system, clean the unit, and store it in a cool and dry indoor location.

Care reminder: Filtration speed may vary with feed-water quality, water temperature, water pressure, TDS level, and filter condition. Clean and descale the system when water flow becomes noticeably slower.

How to Use Your C05 Countertop RO System

Follow these steps to prepare the system, install the pitcher filter, complete the required first-use flushing process, and dispense fresh RO-filtered water.

Prepare the System and Installation Area

Check the system and included components before connecting the power supply or adding water.

Check the Included Components Confirm that the C05 system, glass pitcher, and remineralization filter are present and undamaged.

Choose a Stable Countertop Place the system on a flat, dry, and stable indoor surface near a suitable electrical outlet.

Leave Space Around the Machine Make sure the rear feed-water tank and top filter cover can be removed without obstruction.

Safety notice: Do not install the system outdoors, under direct sunlight, near flammable materials, or in an environment below 32°F.

Prepare the Glass Pitcher

Install the separate remineralization filter in the pitcher before placing the pitcher on the machine.

Clean the Pitcher Wash the glass pitcher, lid, and removable parts before first use.

Install the Remineralization Filter Insert the filter into the designated opening in the pitcher lid and secure it correctly.

Reassemble the Pitcher Replace the lid and make sure the pitcher is fully assembled before placing it on the water tray.

Filter position: The main five-stage RO filter is installed inside the machine. The remineralization filter is installed separately in the glass pitcher.

Fill and Reinstall the Feed-Water Tank

Use municipal tap water and fill the removable tank without exceeding the marked maximum water level.

Lift Out the Water Tank Remove the rear feed-water tank from the machine before filling it.

Fill to the MAX Line Add municipal tap water without exceeding the maximum fill indicator.

Press the Tank Fully into Position Reinstall the tank and make sure there is no gap between the tank and the machine base.

Feed-water requirement: Use municipal tap water between 41°F and 100°F. Water with a raw TDS value above 500 ppm is not recommended.

Complete Four Flushing Cycles

The system and main RO filter must be thoroughly flushed before the first batch of drinking water is collected.

Connect the Power Supply Plug the system into a suitable outlet after the water tank and empty pitcher are in position.

Allow the System to Produce About 40 oz The machine will automatically produce water until the pitcher contains approximately 40 oz.

Discard and Repeat Four Times Empty both the pitcher and feed-water tank, refill the tank, and repeat until four cycles are complete.

Do not drink flushing water: The complete process takes approximately 30 minutes. Grey or dark water may appear initially as fine activated carbon particles are rinsed from the new filter.

Choose Automatic or Manual Dispensing

Use the matching pitcher for automatic filling, or remove it to select a preset or customized water volume.

Automatic Pitcher Filling Place the matching glass pitcher on the water tray. The system automatically produces water until it is full.

Select 8 oz, 20 oz, or 40 oz Remove the original pitcher, place another cup on the tray, and press the volume button to choose a preset.

Use Manual Dispensing Press the manual-water button to begin dispensing. Press the same button again to stop.

Automatic-mode notice: The 8 oz, 20 oz, and 40 oz presets are unavailable while the matching glass pitcher is being filled automatically.

Maintain the System for Daily Use

Regular cleaning and fresh feed water help maintain stable water flow, filter life, and everyday performance.

How the C05 Countertop RO System Works

The C05 draws municipal tap water from its removable feed-water tank, processes it through the integrated reverse osmosis filter, monitors water quality, and automatically fills the matching glass pitcher through a separate remineralization filter.

Remove the rear tank, add municipal tap water up to the MAX line, and press the tank fully back into position. No direct plumbing connection is required.

Water Passes Through the 5-Stage RO Filter

Water Quality Is Monitored in Real Time

The smart display shows raw-water TDS and purified-water TDS, helping you compare incoming water with the water produced after RO filtration.

Purified Water Passes Through the Mineral Filter

Before entering the matching glass pitcher, the RO-filtered water moves through the separate remineralization filter, which helps improve its mineral balance and final taste.

The Glass Pitcher Fills Automatically

Place the matching pitcher on the water tray and the C05 automatically produces water until the pitcher is full. Remove the pitcher to use the 8 oz, 20 oz, 40 oz, or manual dispensing options.

Concentrated-water reminder: During RO filtration, the separated concentrated water remains in the feed-water tank. When the water-changing indicator flashes, remove the tank, discard the remaining water, and refill it with fresh tap water instead of simply topping it up.

C05 Filter Replacement Guide

Replacing each filter at the appropriate time helps maintain stable water production, effective TDS reduction, fresh water taste, and reliable everyday performance.

Monitor the Filter-Life Indicator

The main-filter indicator gradually decreases during use. It turns red when replacement is approaching and flashes when the filter has reached the end of its monitored life.

A red indicator means the main RO filter is approaching the end of its monitored service period.

The Red Indicator Flashes

A flashing red filter indicator means the main filter should be replaced as soon as possible.

Water Production Becomes Slower

Reduced production speed may indicate filter blockage, scale buildup, low water temperature, or poor feed-water quality.

TDS Reduction Becomes Less Effective

Compare the raw-water and purified-water readings. Replace the main filter when performance noticeably declines.

Unwanted Taste or Odor Returns

A change in taste or odor may indicate that the main filter or remineralization filter needs attention.

The Recommended Time Has Been Reached

Use the recommended replacement ranges as guidance, even when the system continues to operate normally.

Do not remove the filter while the system is producing water or performing an automatic flush.

Disconnect the Power

Turn off and unplug the system before removing the main filter cartridge.

Prepare for Residual Water

A small amount of water may drain from the old filter during removal.

Use the Correct Replacement

Install a replacement filter specifically designed for the Purewell C05 system.

Check the Filter Connection

Make sure the new cartridge is fully inserted and securely rotated into position.

Keep the Pitcher in Place

Use the matching glass pitcher or a suitable container during the required flushing cycles.

Main RO Filter Replacement Steps

Follow these steps when replacing the 5-stage all-in-one RO cartridge inside the C05 machine.

Remove the Filter Cover

Lift the top filter cover to access the main cartridge installed inside the machine.

Remove the Used Filter

Rotate the expired cartridge to unlock it, then carefully pull it upward and out of the system.

Install the New Filter

Insert the new cartridge into the filter port and rotate it downward until it is securely locked.

Replace the Filter Cover

Reinstall the top cover and make sure it sits correctly before reconnecting the system.

Reset the Main Filter-Life Indicator

Step 1 Press and hold the filter-reset button for 3 seconds until the system beeps and the filter icon flashes.

Step 2 Within 10 seconds, press and hold the same button for another 3 seconds.

Step 3 After the confirmation beep, wait approximately 5 seconds for the system to exit reset mode.

Replacement and Flushing Checklist

Filter-life reminder: Recommended replacement periods are reference values rather than fixed guarantees. Feed-water TDS, hardness, temperature, daily use, filtered volume, maintenance, and local water quality can shorten or extend actual filter life.

Important: Do not drink water produced during the new-filter flushing process. Some grey or dark water may appear during early flushing because fine activated-carbon particles are being rinsed from the new cartridge. This can be normal during the initial cycles.

I really like that it includes a glass jar and an extra mineral filter to restore healthy minerals into the water. The water tastes crisp and pure, and you can clearly taste the difference compared to tap water or Brita filters.
The only small downside is that the water tank is at the back; it would be more convenient if it were on the side instead. It also comes with a small tool to help twist and replace the filter, and the instructions are clear both in the manual and on the filter itself.

I bought this for our cabin, which runs on well water. While the water is technically safe to drink, it has a high mineral content, so we always used to bring bottled water for drinking. This reverse osmosis system has made that completely unnecessary, and we couldn’t be happier with it.
First of all, it’s very well-built and looks great on the countertop. But the most important thing is the quality of the water it produces. Everyone in the family tried it and agreed it’s just as good as bottled water, especially compared to the unfiltered well water.
It’s not the cheapest option on the market, but I believe in the long run it’s more than worth it for the cost savings and environmental benefits it provides.

I’m really glad I decided to give this a try. My tap water has always tested really poorly, but once I got this water filter system fully set up, I tested the filtered water and it now shows up in the green — excellent quality — and it actually tastes so much better! The setup instructions were really easy to follow. It works extremely well and is simple to fill. It doesn’t take up much counter space either, so it’s fairly compact.
