A Hard Lesson in the Wild

In 2014, outdoor enthusiast Jason learned a devastating lesson during a hiking trip. A cheap portable water filter caused severe diarrhea and stomach complications for his entire team, leading to a three-month hospital stay. Even more tragically, one of his best friends - Peter passed away six months later due to complications from the viral infection. This painful experience ignited Jason’s mission: to protect others from the same threats.

Building Purewell®

Driven by this purpose, he left his 10-year career of hardware and created the brand: Purewell®. 

Teaming up with water filtration experts, Jason searched existing products in the market and developed over 15 reliable outdoor filters, all rigorously tested and certified by NSF—the global authority in water industry.

As Jason’s vision grew, Purewell has expanded into home water filtration systems, bringing safety from outdoor to daily life.
