1. Add Water

Pour water into the upper chamber. No electricity or plumbing is required.

2. Gravity Pulls Water Down

Water naturally moves through the filter elements by gravity.

3. Filtered Water Collects Below

Filtered water collects in the lower chamber and is ready to pour from the spigot.

Excellent water dispenser and filtration system

I was looking to $ a quality built water filtration system dispenser. I hit a grand slam with this product from the solid construction components to the 9.0 alkaline water filters that is quality you can taste going across your pallet. What the $ for this product is a sound $ in my book. Recommendations for this product is spot on.

Get extra filters

I drink a lot of water. Living temporarily in a 5th wheel while home is being built, on new well water with lots of mineral build up. I like the concept and having clean water but I'm already on my second set of filters. Disappointing since they aren't cheap.

Thank you, Ginger. We appreciate your thoughtful feedback and will keep your comments in mind as we improve. We appreciate your feedback on “Get extra filters.”

Amazing Purewell water purifier!

I’m genuinely impressed with this Purewell water purifier. The biggest difference right away was the taste — the water comes out tasting incredibly clean and fresh, with none of the weird aftertaste or heaviness our tap water sometimes has. It honestly makes drinking more water easier because it just tastes that good.

Setup and daily use are super simple. You just fill it, let it filter, and you’re good to go — no complicated steps or confusing parts.

One feature I didn’t realize I’d appreciate so much is the clear viewing window. You can quickly see how low the water level is without opening it, which makes refilling really convenient and helps you plan ahead.

The only downside I’ve noticed is that the metal exterior shows handprints and fingerprints pretty easily (see photos), which can make it look dirty even when it’s not. A quick wipe fixes it, but it does need to be cleaned often if you like a spotless look.

Overall, it’s easy, effective, and makes a noticeable difference in water quality. Definitely a five-star purchase for our home.

Complete junk. Get this. Our tap water measures about 170 PPM. After we put the tap water into this system, the PPM is actually higher which means it's worse than tap water. Total fraud man. This crao is going back

Impressive, Affordable and Easy to Use

I have wanted a filter like this for rather a long-time, but couldn't talk myself into the price of the one I kept hearing advertised on the radio. When I saw this one, I knew it was time to try it out. It is very reasonably priced and has all the same features I had wanted, and one I guess I don't really need.

It has this counter/timer on top and it uses a 90-day "cycle' to help keep the filter from being used too long, but the filter lasts about three and half cycles, which is likely to have me trying to recall "which cycle is this?" So, I am probably just going to set my calendar to remind me. But, as this is such an otherwise perfect filter, I don't really care about the cycle-timer.

The metal body and reservoir are very nice looking and seem to be the right material for a water filter. I love that there are two charcoal filters in the upper tank and that they both work simultaneously, doubling the flow-rate. It takes about a half hour for the whole upper reservoir to move thru them into the storage tank, which has a clear see-thru window to monitor the water level.

I also like the stand and the way the whole unit wastes no space on my counter, being square instead of round. It has a very nice appearance and looks like it belongs in the kitchen. In my opinion this is a fantastic value and I would whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone.

Easy Setup, Great-Tasting Water, and an Excellent Backup System

This gravity-fed water filter system was very easy to set up—it’s self-explanatory right out of the box. The design is clean, sturdy, and well thought out. It truly is a countertop unit, though it is fairly tall, so you’ll want to make sure you have enough clearance and don’t plan to place it under overhead cabinets.

One of the biggest reasons we appreciate this system is as a backup water solution. We live on a well system that relies on electricity, so when the power goes out, so does our water. Having a gravity-fed system like this on hand provides real peace of mind. The top chamber holds two gallons of water, which is a very practical amount for drinking, cooking, or caring for pets during outages.

As for performance, the water tastes clean, fresh, and noticeably better after filtration. The stainless steel construction feels durable and sanitary, and features like the water level window and included stand make it both functional and attractive on the counter.

Overall, this is a well-designed, reliable system that works great for everyday use, emergency preparedness, or anyone living on well water. Highly recommend.

Save Time, Money, Your Kidneys & Liver with This Filter System! Great for Emergency Kit!

We live in a hurricane prone area which comes with a lot of challenges. There may be weeks at a time where our local water system can be put out of commission. It is imperative to have a water filter system that does not require electricity for it to work. This Purewell system is a great choice to have for our hurricane emergency kit. The unit is quite easy to set up. You have to prime the filter before you install it, which is easy to do. This unit gives you a timer that counts down 90 days before you need to change out the filter - which is an AWESOME feature! (I can never remember when I need to change filters!) It filters out 20+ items that should not be in your drinking water. It is also 3rd party tested. I love the fact that it does not take up too much real estate on our countertop! This little unit will save you tons of money and time by not having to buy bottled water. Someone once said to me that either you filter your water before you drink it, or your kidneys and liver will do it for you. Which filter do you want to use? This filter unit makes a lot of sense on so many levels, from helping the environment, to helping your health, to helping your wallet. It comes with 2 filters and a countertop stand. I would highly recommend this water filter system!

Clean Tasting Water with Smart Design and Solid Build Quality

The Purewell Square Series gravity-fed water filter system is a well-designed countertop solution for anyone looking to improve water taste and quality without plumbing or electricity. The stainless steel construction feels sturdy and premium, and the square shape gives it a modern look that fits nicely on a kitchen counter without taking up excessive space. The included stand adds stability and makes dispensing water convenient.

Functionality is where this system really stands out. The two-stage filtration noticeably improves water taste by effectively reducing chlorine and common impurities. The filtered water tastes clean and fresh, making it great for drinking, cooking, and coffee. The gravity-fed design is simple and reliable, and the water level window is a practical feature that makes it easy to see when it’s time to refill.

The smart timer is a thoughtful addition that helps track filter life without guessing, which adds to the overall ease of use. Setup is straightforward, and once assembled, the system works consistently without leaks or issues. Maintenance is also simple, with filters that are easy to replace when needed.

In terms of value for the money, this system offers a strong balance of quality, performance, and useful features. Considering the durable stainless steel build, effective filtration, included filters, and added conveniences like the water level window and timer, it provides excellent long-term value compared to buying bottled water or lower-quality filter systems. It’s a dependable and cost-effective option for households focused on cleaner drinking water.

Easy and Tasty

We have been using it for a bit now. Did have leakage in the beginning but that was user error. We were filling the top tank too quickly, as water is fast filtered and there was no where for it to go in when the bottom was full. Problem solved. Water tastes and looks great. Can definitely tell the difference. Tanks are sturdy and easy to put together.

Thank you, TankerVetsWife. We’re delighted that the system is working well for you and delivering water you enjoy. We appreciate your feedback on “Easy and Tasty.”

Wonderful Water Filter for Families on a Budget!

I moved into a new rental in October, 2023. Within the first month, I realized my skin and hair felt gross. I was getting breakouts on my face, my hair was getting super oily, even after washing it, and my skin felt really dry and itchy. I have a tabletop ice maker, which I've always filled with tap water. After moving here, I noticed a weird slimy film in the water reservoir.

I decided the water here is filled with something that's not good. I immediately bought a filter for my shower and within two showers, the difference was absolutely astonishing. Then I started buying and drinking only bottled water. I even gave my cats and dogs purified water that I bought, ten gallons at a time. In short, I've spent a LOT of money on water.

Last summer, I joined a preping group on Facebook and I noticed a lot of people were talking about water filtration systems. Curious, I went on a hunt for information. I compared quality, price, convenience, aesthetic, etc. I finally landed on this Purewell water filtration system.

The system arrived quickly and in good shape. It was super easy to put it together. Basically, all I had to do was choose a spigot (it comes with a metal one and a plastic one) and attach it, then install the filter. Within ten minutes of the system arriving, I was filtering water.

My system holds a little over two gallons at a time. Between the amount I drink and use to cook with, refilling my water bottles (pictured here), and the amount I use to fill my pet fountains every day, I fill my system about three times a day.

At this point, I've had the filter set up for almost four weeks. Since then, I have noticed my coffee and teas taste better, and the water tastes so good, I've been drinking about a gallon a day!

Even better: I have spent zero money on bottled or gallons of water since I got my Purewell! It's quickly paying for itself. I highly recommend this water filtration system for you and your family!

Thank you, Nan. Were glad the system is working well for you and delivering water you enjoy. We appreciate your feedback on Wonderful Water Filter for Families on a Budget!.

Stainless steel filter setup

It is a nice size for our family of 3. I like the stainless spechett. And the little plugs they have to plug spare holes in bottom where there is no filter. There not the black rubber ones that get nasty.

It is not fast.

So far so good. We run water the a RO first. Then into the purewell. 4 stars because I wish it was a little faster through the purewell the most I have been able to make is a gallon and a half a day. But it is the best tasting water I have had since I was a kid. After drinking from PW for a week, then drinking a commercially made bottle the difference was unbelievable. Purewell 100% bottle water 1% in taste.

Thank you, ROBERT. Thank you for highlighting both what worked well and what could be improved. We appreciate your feedback on “It is not fast.”
